This led to thousands of clueless users clicking the link thinking this blog was Facebook. The almost 2000 comments on the blog make for really disturbing reading — yes, there really are that many idiots out there."

I’m confused... are you implying that having an account would somehow make you just as dumb as the rest of those people (how?) or that it would put you in the same group as them, making you look bad by association (you’re all human, so I’m afraid that’s already done).
