What we need is another search engine that isn't under the control of any one group. I'm not sure how this would be possible though, but with how these companies have caved in with censorship, we need a search engine that can't be controlled in such a way, like the internet can not be controlled effectively. A lot of pages we visit are pages we already visited in the past, a partial solution would be a Firefox extension that makes you own search engine while you browse.
