I went through literally every single obscure "free e-mail" service known to man, and they all lock me out with "verify with phone" screens now, or don't allow new registrations whatsoever. Or show perpetual CAPTCHAs. Or give fake error messages. The only exception used to be Tutanota, but they have now begun flat-out blocking all Tor/VPN users, and perpetually refuse to accept
