... obviously not fast enough, should never have seen the light of day, but clearly the senior people are greedy and incompetent, yet another perfect example of the Peter Principle.
equating the peter principle with greed and incompetence is asinine. The peter principle is all about the idea that a good performer is not actually paid their worth in their actual value so they are to be promote to do so, however that promotion usually dictates that a different set of skills will be required to remain competent and therefore places the person at risk of now becoming incompetent and no longer advancing.
The Peter Principle is a clear indictment of the entire Title = Worth/Salary model most businesses have. In reality if you have a person that can clean toilets at a rate of 3 times better than other employees, then you should not promote that person, you should pay them more instead. After promotion their skills are now no longer relevant and you actually lose a good worker and potentially gain a worker in their new position. However, we all know what the socialists lazy fucks will do... bitch about the fact that someone doing the same job they are doing and getting paid significantly more. And god help everyone if that excellent worker is a man vs a lazy woman. We cannot have a meritocracy because people want to do only enough to avoid getting fired and the optics count more than facts!
We do not give a fucking shit about actual value, while we give too much emphasis to "perceived" value... and THAT is the lesson of the fucking peter principle!
You mean the union men who fought and sometimes died to bring us weekends, the 40 hour week (now replaced by the 60 hour week in Progressive-run companies), and labor safety standards? Yeah, fuck those losers!

This has nothing to do with crony capitalism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...
